      Kimberly is a native Chicagoan.  She attended University of Chicago Lab School for elementary school and St. Ignatius College Prep for high school.  She continued her education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her B.S. in mechanical engineering and her law degree.        

      Kimberly has practiced at the prestigious law firms of Winston & Strawn and Rudnick & Wolfe.  Later, she was in-house counsel & managing broker for her real estate sales company, Prosperous Realty LLC.  Kimberly founded Protecting Legacies LLC in 2007.  In 2009, she was inducted into St. Ignatius College Prep’s prestigious Estate & Tax Planning Council.

      As a Chicago native, Synthia finds it easy to relate to and serve her clients.  She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and obtained her B.A. in psychology in 2001.  Synthia received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School in 2004.  She immediately began her practice in estate planning at a small firm and has grown a stronger passion for the field of Estate Planning and Legacy Design in the years that have followed.

      A Chicago native, Toya majored in Geology at Wellesley College. After a stint in uranium exploration in the Black Hills of South Dakota, she returned to Chicago and spent over 20 years in banking & community development. Dismayed by multiple vacant properties in her Woodlawn Community, Toya discovered that many were vacant due to owners dying without proper estate planning.  She vowed to change this! Toya earned her J.D from The John Marshall Law School in 2005.  Toya’s down to earth, yet professional approach allows her clients to relax and focus on building their legacy.

      Julie, a native of Chicago attended Whitney Young High School.  Julie earned a Bachelor's Degree in both Psychology and Political Science from Illinois State University.  Julie graduated from Emory Law School in Atlanta, Georgia where she was the inaugural recipient for the public service award for graduates.

       Julie is an active member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, the Chicago Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the National Council of Negro Women, Illinois State University’s Attorneys Advisory Council and is the immediate past president of the Illinois State University’s Black Colleagues Association.  Julie and her husband Tracy have a 16-year old daughter.
